  • China and Russia became first communist party because they never went through an industrialized period 
  • According to Marx social classes needed to be formed from an industrial revolution so communism required industrialization
  •  China, North Korea, Russia, Vietnam, Cuba and a bit of Laos and Cambodia could be seen as communist countries left 
  • Communism & Feminism - women had more opportunities
  • Cold war - was a battle of arms between Russia and U.S. but neither had fired any shots at each other due to both having nuclear weapons
  • Battles happened in allied counties seen as a Cold War
  • Divide between East and West (Iron Curtain) division of communist the countries and those who were not. North Korea being seen as a power house, wanted to seize their competitor South Korea. China and America were involved in a war that ended in a stalemate. Vietnam was going through its own problems between the North and South due to their conflicting ideals causing a war between them. U.S. decided it was time to get involved. But were unsuccessful in their attempt from letting Vietnam fall into the communist clutches due to China and Russia preventing that from happening
